ESG-Open challenges the status quo by asking
"Where is the S in ESG?"

E.S.G-Open is a leading innovator in scope 1,2 and 3 analysis of the direct, indirect and induced impacts of Environmental, Social and Governance investments and production activity.

Based on three decades of academic modeling, using input output, social accounting, matrices and computer, general equilibrium modeling, ESG-Open methodology has deep roots, Starting with the original application of Dr. Raul Hinojosa and Dr. Sherman Robinson CGE/SAM modeling to US Mexico, trade environment, migration and capital flows, which led to the creation of the North American Development Bank in association with the UCLA NAID Center. Further applications of this modeling work have been carried out in many parts of the world as well as the basis for a variety of global multicountry, multi sector, modeling of trade flows, financial flows, environmental impacts and social impacts.

Traditional ESG ratings systems ignore the core Social factors that corporations, governments and Institutions effect. We are going to put Social Factors on the table - in evaluating, planning and building for the future.

ESG-Open's system applies large scale data analytics on locally based data sets representing the current state of populations; whether they be local, indigenous, migrant or Diaspora. ESG-Open's system then quantifies the Social Equity footprint of these populations and utilizes those results in long term planning and analysis.

• Energy Transition planners can take these Social Factors into account - when mapping out their Energy Transition planning.

• Diaspora economists and analysts can utilize this data when understanding the flow of money through remittances back to native countries and tracking the Social Factors driven by this "Diaspora Economy."

• Environmental and Social Impact Studies measure the effectiveness of regional environmental and social programs by first establishing a baseline of data points and then tracking the progress of those environmental and social equity data points, and compare the delta of those data points to industry norms and societal averages. Progress around each environmental and social factor can then be scored and ranked.

ESG-Open is NOT an ESG rating agency or system to rate companies, products or suppliers
